In 1998, Vincent Damphousse and his co-founders set out with a common dream: to create an authentic, inspiring leisure destination. Their vision was to bring the centuries-old tradition of Scandinavian Nordic spas to the peaceful, unspoiled beauty of Mont-Tremblant, creating an experience unlike any other. Located just five minutes from the ski resort, Scandinave Spa Mont-Tremblant opened its doors on December 11, 1999, seamlessly complementing the region’s rich tapestry of tourism activities. It quickly became a popular destination for visitors seeking a blend of nature and relaxation.

Building on this success, Scandinave Spa expanded with new locations in the Blue Mountains (Ont.) in 2006, followed by an urban indoor spa in Old Montreal (Que.) in 2009 and Whistler (B.C.) in 2010. With a quarter-century of experience in spa design, construction and management, Scandinave Spa remains committed to preserving the essence of each location, blending future spas harmoniously into their natural surroundings, and maintaining a commitment to peace and tranquility around Canada.
